Located by the lake, at the western entrance of Evian, the Pré Curieux includes a charming colonial style house dating from 1870 at the foot of which extends a wooded park of 3.5 hectares, rehabilitated by the landscape architect Laurent Daune (Lucinges). This site is a unique place to discover wetlands. The water gardens were awarded the label “Remarkable Garden” in 2005.
In the summer of 2006, the City of Evian opened the doors of its «Palais Lumière». Formerly a thermal spa, this rediscovered jewel of Evian heritage houses an exhibition space and an internationally renowned convention center.
Overlooking the shores of Lake Geneva in Haute-Savoie, the medieval city of Yvoire invites you to explore its rich past. Admire the port of this historic fishing village, walk through the ancient streets of this medieval stronghold and stroll through the castle’s old vegetable garden, awakening all your senses.
Stretching from the shore of Lake Geneva (372 meters above sea level) to the summit of Mont de Grange (culminating at 2 432 meters), this region is sometimes diverse, sometimes unique, sometimes surprising and always imbued with its authentic nature. The country of Evian Valley of Abundance reveals a varied palette that will not fail to captivate all those who will explore it!
The Ripaille estate covers 120 hectares on the edge of Lake Geneva. Ripaille is worth not only for its architecture and history, linked to the most brilliant periods of the Savoyard past, but also for its nature – especially its forests – and its wine.
With its prestigious thermal history, Évian has managed to preserve its entire rich heritage. The Cachat bar and the Griffon de la Source Cachat, emblematic of Evian, testify to the past life of the spa.
The Olympic Museum is a space dedicated to the history of the Olympic Games. It opened on 23 June 1993 in Lausanne, Switzerland, on the heights of the Quai d'Ouchy, on the edge of Lake Geneva. This site contains both permanent and temporary exhibitions that explore the field of sport and the Olympic movement.
