Discovered in 1994, the Chauvet Cave is a decorated cave featuring prehistoric drawings over 36,000 years old. It is the oldest known evidence of human art. In 2014, it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. For obvious conservation reasons, the original cave is closed to the public. However, its replica, Chauvet 2 Cave, faithfully reproduces the paintings, walls, floors, ceilings, and archaeological remains of the original cave.
A unique geological wonder, this spectacular natural arch was carved into the rock by the flow of the Ardèche River. Located at the entrance to the Ardèche Gorges, the Pont d’Arc rises 54 meters high and spans 60 meters wide, and is estimated to be at least 124,000 years old. A viewpoint has been set up to enjoy a stunning view of the site. It is THE must-see photo spot! 📸
Aven d’Orgnac is a cave classified as a Grand Site de France. After descending 700 steps, you reach 120 meters underground and enter chambers adorned with stunning stalagmites and stalactites. Everywhere, the steady drip of water patiently sculpts the underground landscape, growing the formations by about one millimeter per year. Enhanced by subtle lighting, the world of Aven d’Orgnac feels magical and has made this Ardèche cave a world reference in the underground realm. ✨
We offer parking for coaches, group buses, and cars, including designated accessible spaces for guests with disabilities.
