Discovery of the Camisards Valley through its history
This walk labeled "Esprit Parc" by the Cevennes National Park is open and adapted to all regardless of age and physical level.
During a walk between hamlets and river banks, you will discover the architecture of the old Protestant farmhouse. These atypical places of refuge and work will allow you to understand how the Cevennes valleys have marked the history of France. At the edge of the water and then on the heights of Mialet, follow in the footsteps of the Huguenots and discover the Moulin de la Bonté, the Hameau de Luziers through the Desert Museum.

You will end this day in Camisarde land with a tasting stop on the farm: cheeses and local and seasonal products.
Day 3: Hiking with your feet in the water + Bamboo plantation
This day hike in the Gorges, feet in the water, contributes to the discovery and enhancement of the magnificent natural and cultural heritage of the Cevennes.
It is a refreshing outing of 10 km, accessible to all audiences. We will walk feet in the water, on pebbles and rocks in the bed of the Gardon. No difficulties in sight, no elevation gain, quiet river, a most pleasant hike during which we will be permanently by the river and where we will take the opportunity to stop at the edge of the gours (small pool of water) to soak and cool off. At lunchtime, we will enjoy the setting and have lunch together from our picnic bag.
You will finish this day not the unforgettable visit of the famous Bambouseraie of Anduze
Day 4: travel by Cévennes steam train
A day full of history…
The Steam Train of the Cevennes towed by its valiant locomotive takes you from Anduze to St Jean du Gard, viaducts in tunnels contemplate the admirable panoramas of the Gardons Valley in its wagons 1900. In St Jean du Gard you will visit the Maison Rouge last silk mill to have closed in France, Maison Rouge is reborn from its ashes half a century later to house today the collections of the Musée des Vallées Cévenoles…
